Mission Inn's Las Colinas ("The Hills") was built in 1992 and designed by former PGA Tour player and TV commentator, Gary Koch. Just rated 4 stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places To Play, 2008/2009" and nominated as Golf Digest's 1992 "Best New Resort Course," Las Colinas offers quite a different challenge from El Campeon. Its wide open fairways and gently rolling hills create an inland links design that contrasts and at the same time, compliments its older sister course. Greens are large and undulating, while the course's classic old architecture style demands proper shot placement. Water can be found on 14 holes and again, large berms are found to framework numerous fairways.
