A great value round on this fabulous course will have you coming back for more.
With the forested hills of Chonburi providing a scenic backdrop and numerous well-kept flowerbeds catching the eye, the British-style course at Greenwood Golf & Resort is one of the more picturesque courses in Pattaya. With extensive landscaping adding some interesting elevations changes to what would otherwise be a fairly flat course, the 27 holes here provide a satisfying challenge for golfers of all levels.
Five time Open Champion Peter Thomson has opted in the main for sand rather than water to provide the stiffest tests, and you won't get an easy ride of it if you find yourself in one of the many deep pot bunkers that are so cleverly located. However, water does come into play occasionally, particularly on the standout hole C9 where it is waiting to punish those who get greedy with their line. Good maintenance ensures the greens remain firm and quick even in wet season, and this consistency goes some way to making up for the lack of a practice green. The recently upgraded facilities made under the new owners (the resort was formerly known as Noble Place) are an improvement on what went before, with a revamped clubhouse now able to boast modern changing facilities and a restaurant serving tasty food and satisfyingly cold beer, all served by smiling staff.
With green fees on the low side and the distance from the city meaning it is rarely busy, Greenwood Golf & Resort makes for a great choice for your golf holiday.
