Golf Las Americas

Golf Las Americas golf is set a few minutes walk away from the sea front and the vibrant nightlife. The 6,039-meter course is like an oasis of nature with lush greenery, streams and waterfalls. It is situated in the heart of Playa de las Americas. When it was built in 1998, it was crafted into a natural amphitheater with trees and shrubs acting as a screen from noise and bright lights. The mountains in the background help to complete the picture and make this course a pleasure to play on. The sea and the mountains are constant viewing companions as you enjoy the gentle slope of the course.

How to play Golf Las Americas?

One of the most notable features of Golf Las Americas is its streams, ravines and lakes which cross the course. Water comes in to play on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th 12th, 13th, 17th and 18th holes. So there are dramatic holes with overwater carries and some big up/down and left/right slopes, butthere is always an alternative shot for the more cautious golfer. All the bunkers have beautiful glossy golden sand in them, rather than the local black stuff. Some fairways are quite long (420 for par 4), the greens are well maintained but quick. Holes are tricky and sometimes in slanted areas.

Please notice that the pace of play can be slower than usual during busy periods due to the tight nature of the design in places where some delays on tees and greens is inevitable. But the course is challenging and in good condition. So, worth to include in your Tenerife golf holiday
