El Cortijo has been the venue for important international championships. This 18 hole par 72 course was designed by American Blake Stirling (head designer for Pete Dye) and Marco Martin. Players enjoy gentle slopes and fast greens combined with over 600 century-old palm trees and six large lakes making the game here both entertaining and competitive.
How to play El Cortijo?
We recommend you to book a buggy. The eighth is uphill; there is a steep incline between eighth and ninth; the ninth is uphill. A long walk to the tenth tee. The tenth is uphill! A long par five, followed by more uphill around the very large hill, which dominates the inward nine. Firm, undulating greens makes for a good challenge of putting skills.
