How to play Golf El Rompido?
The El Rompido South Course itself sprawls across an intriguing mix of parkland and marshland and offers some amazing views at the walk from the 8th green to the 9th tee takes you across a 650ft pontoon right across the protected marshland where you can see freshwater crabs and an abundance of bird life.
The North Course has a good mix of holes with some challenging tee shots and approaches. Greens are quite large with a fair amount of slope. The fairways, particularly over the front nine are quite forgiving. Lateral water hazards and the occasional lake line the course but don't really come into play unless you hit a nasty slice or snap hook. The back nine is tighter and bit more technical. You need to be able to play a range of different shots and use most of the clubs in your bag. There are so many great holes, the 15th and 16th are a visual treat.
