Noria Golf Club is a relatively new golf club established in 2014. It combines traditional Moroccan landscapes and architectural features, reflecting the feel of southern Morocco.
Play golf at Noria Golf Course
Noria is a good, tough, long course to play and is in very good condition. But don't be fooled by the colour of the grass, it's Bermuda grass which dies back in the winter. Strangely this course should be greener in the summer when the bermuda would grow back. The fairways have been painted green to make it look better.
The most unique hole on this course has to be the par-three 8th – where else can you find a reflecting pool and a Biarritz green (featuring a deep gully bisecting its middle) overlooked by a Moroccan bell tower?
There's not much rough and the only place you are likely to loose a golf ball is in the occasional water hazard. The 9th and 18th both come back to the clubhouse and are separated by a rather odd water channel which has been boult in a straight line between the clubhouse and an Egyptian style monument at the other end.
