Castelconturbia Golf Club

In 1898 the Couturbier Golf Course was the only golf course in Piedmont, and only two golf courses were at the time in Italy. This is recorded in some old books which copy is also found in Italy. The course was strongly desired by count Gaspar Voli well known, among other things, for his frequent travelling to Scotland, who did succeed in involving in the passion for golf, his neighbour count Avogadro di Collobiano, to the point to build a nine hole course on his estate
