Castelconturbia Golf Club

In 1898 the Castelconturbia Golf Course was the only golf course in Piedmont, and only two golf courses were at the time in Italy. This is recorded in some old books which copy is also found in Italy. The course was strongly desired by count Gaspar Voli well known, among other things, for his frequent travelling to Scotland, who did succeed in involving in the passion for golf, his neighbour count Avogadro di Collobiano, to the point to build a nine hole course on his estate.

How to play Castelconturbia Golf Club?

This 27 holes golf course is of high quality and well designed. Holes are quite long, and there are enough bunkers and water to keep things challanging. Surroundings are hilly so you dont always see where you are supposed to hit the ball. Keeping your drive in the fairway is recommended, there are lots of trees and obstacles waiting otherwise. Roughs are usually moderate and playable, but for long shotters this course may be a tough one.
