Jack Nicklaus was instumental in the planning of Le Robinie Golf Club and is it is already considered one of the most demanding courses in Italy. The course runs through hills, terraces, bunkers and lakes in true Nicklaus style and here he has created a demanding but not a punishing course. It is possible for golfers of all levels from beginners to professionals to play (there are five tee off areas for every hole) and enjoy themselves.
How to play Le Robinie Golf Club?
Le Robinie Golf Club looks as if it was designed to host mayor tournaments, as the holes are all surrounded by elevated areas (ideal for spectators to stand on and watch), which creates kind of an amphitheatre. With long and wide fairways, its almost impossible to lose your ball after a drive. Aiming the green is another thing though, many surrounded by water, and of course you will find plenty of bunkers, too. Hole 6 is a very pretty a dogleg to the right with an elevated green protected by water and several bunkers on the right side, also hole 14 with more then twenty(!) bunkers on the right side of the fairway.
