Set in the middle of an ancient 200 acre estate, the wonderful 19th century Chateau du Vaudichon has been converted into a bright, elegant and spacious golf hotel. Situated between Rouen and Dieppe, next to the Eawy forest that is reputed to be one of most beautiful beech groves of France, each of the golf hotel's seven comfortable and roomy bedrooms is ensuite and overlook either the first tee or 18th green of the Golf de Saint-Saens.
A recent renovation to an onsite barn means there are now an extra 13 new bedrooms, all built to a modern standard and only a stone's throw away from the main chateau.
Golf de Saint Saens
Not too taxing but still requiring a steady approach to the three completely different stretches of this slightly hilly parkland course. some of the holes cross a small river; the hillier holes are set in a forest which in turn, lead to the great finishing holes. The beautiful 19th-century château is a welcoming clubhouse and hotel.
