The Western Algarve is less than an hours drive from Faro but has some really great towns like Alvor and Lagos both have a real Portuguese feel to them and have plenty of good bars and restaurants.

The standard mountain view rooms offer good value for money, but we recommended our customers to upgrade to pool view to appreciate the stunning golf views from the balcony. Please note that both the hotel and golf course are non smoking.

Penina Resort
Resort Course (Penina) As well as the Championship and Academy, the Penina Resort also offers the Resort Course. This 9 hole track features 18 tees and makes full use of Sir Henry Cotton\'s principles with a number of lakes and sand hazards making it an enjoyable course that tests the skills of all abilities. Le Méridien Penina Golf & Resort certainly lives up to its reputation as one of the best golf resort\'s in Portugal.
