Orna Golf & Country Club provides a tough test of golfing skill even for the regions best professionals. Ornas 27 hole golf course, which in January hosted the Davidoff Tours Qualifying School for the year 2001 - 2003. Professionals from all over Asia, Europe and America have found Ornas championship combination of the East and West Nines to be more than a match for their undoubted skills.

Tiara Melaka Golf & Country Club

Within its 27-hole layout, Tiara Melaka contains the superb Woodlands-nine, as good a nine-hole loop of undulating, through the jungle golf as you will find anywhere. With dense jungle lining the way, and a few monkeys probably looking on, this immensely attractive rain forest environment contains many pleasantly undulating and very picturesque holes. The Lakes-nine, although containing some enjoyable and testing holes, is not quite in the same league as the Woodlands or Meadow, the combination on which most tournaments are played. Although the immaculate greens are large (occasionally huge), the fairways vary from good-width to very tight. Maintenance at Tiara Melaka is generally good, although if improved a few notches, this is a layout that could challenge for top honours amongst Malaysia's very best.

  • Directions : From KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), take \'Johor Bahru/Seremban\' exit and proceed to North South Expressway towards Melaka. Look out for the \'Ayer Keroh/Melaka\' exit and filter out to the toll gates. Continue for approximately half hour on Melaka\'s trunk road (no turnings) until T-junction with a prominent archway is sighted. Filter leftwards, past 1st traffic light (landmark on the left): Green Roofed Mosque, past the 2nd traffic light (landmark 0.06 miles ahead on the right): white building, Putra Specialist Hospital. Hotel is located adjacent to Putra Specialist Hospital on the right side of this road.
