How long will it take to receive my handicap certificate?
We normally dispatch handicap certificates within 48 hours of receipt of scorecards, but can do them the same day if your requirement is very urgent. We can also fax/email a letter of confirmation to take with your if you need it by the same day, but we can only do this on proof of urgency.
Are the handicap certificates official?
No, they are not official as they can only be issued by golf clubs to club members, however, ours are the next best thing. Our system is set up as per CONGU (Council Of National Golf Unions) rules and the handicap certificates that we issue are accurate.
Will I be able to play golf courses abroad with your handicap certificates?
Yes, without question. As our handicaps are controlled and issued in a professional way golf clubs do recognise them and accept them. Whichever course you wish to play on, you will not be turned away.
Can I use your handicap to play in competitions?
In most circumstances you can with the exception to Golf Club Open competitions were we would advise members to check with the relevant clubs first. If you wish to play in Corporate Games, ProAm, Charity and Society Competitions then it is acceptable for these.
How many scorecards do I need to give you, and how do I get them to you?
We normally ask for 3 scorecards to be provided as we can then more accurately assess your handicap. Once you pay your membership for your handicap you will receive an email providing you with the necessary contact information etc.. We can receive scorecards via fax, email or the post.
Do my scorecards need to be from the same course and do they need to be signed?
It is not necessary for your cards to be from the same course as your handicap is calculated using the course SSS (Standard Scratch Score) rating, which each course has.In most cases we can also accept scorecards from other countries. We do need your scorecards to be signed by yourself and your playing partner, but it's not necessary for your partner to have a handicap.
Can you supply handicap certificates to ladies too?
Yes, we can supply handicap confiscates to ladies, the maximum being 36.0
