LOCATION Main entrance on Rio Verde Drive (Dynamite) and 174th Street (Vista Verde Drive)- Approximately 10 miles East of Alma School Road. THE GOLF COURSE The golf course is a modified desert style course, with cross washes on some holes; however much of the vegetation has been cleared from these washes, enabling golfers to play from them if necessary. The bunkering and greens complexes of the course give it a “Pinehurst” feel, false fronts and roll-off areas on many of the large, undulating greens. Architect Ken Kavanaugh created a real jewel in the desert. This golf course has received rave reviews from golf writers, golf professionals, and the golf architects who have had the privilege to play it the past two seasons. Five sets of tees make the Vista Verde golfing experience enjoyable for golfers of all ability levels. The back tees lengthen the course to just less than 7,300 yards. RESERVING A TEE TIME AND PLAYING THE COURSE Because of ongoing infrastructure constructions, there are no indoor facilities at Vista Verde at this time. Vista Verde offers a no frills, beautiful scenery golf experience. There currently is no POTABLE WATER at the facility. Bathroom facilities are portalettes. Bottled water on ice is furnished free of charge to each golfer, and, a beverage cart service is available at the facility, with soft drinks, candy, sandwiches , etc. Rates through May 3rd are $75.00 (Monday – Thursday) and $90 (Friday – Sunday). SUMMER RATES AND SCHEDULE Beginning May 4th, summer rates and summer hours go into effect. Course will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Rates will be $45 (Wednesday and Thursday) and $50 ( Friday – Sunday). Tee times will be restricted to the hours of 8:00 AM – 10:00AM each day , with groups starting on both #1 and #10.
