It was not for nothing that Golf Digest rated Navanatee Golf Club as the best in Thailand in 1999, the year it hosted the Thailand Open. Peppered with some truly superb holes, framed by mature trees and vivid bougainvillea, the course presents a scenic challenge to golfers of all levels, especially from the tough back tees. At the signature 6th, a tough 445 yard par-4, even the best players will struggle to make par. Your approach will require a draw that avoids the water that runs down the whole left hand side of the fairway and in front of the green. The outdoor clubhouse restaurant is highly regarded and has great views over the course. After such a fantastic round of golf it seems a little churlish to complain, but the changing rooms could use an upgrade, the only thing that detracts from what should be an essential, if expensive, part or your Thailand golf holiday.
