This course and its sister course Fire, opened in 2009 and are the first Greg Norman designs in the Gulf. The owners have allowed this course to be open for two years so that it has matured before opening it to the public. The fairways are fairly open which could be considered generous, but take care as the greens are large and sloping and you could leave yourself with a series of long and difficult putts due to excellent pin placement. The fairways are surrounded by bleached white sand bunkers and this same sand was imported from North Carolina. Outside of the fairways and bunkers you will find wood chip which makes your ball easy to find, but not so easy to hit once you have found it! This looks like a great course to play!
