Houlgate Golf course is situated in the middle of an ancient forest, it is both a hilly and picturesque course that was originally designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Allis in 1980.
This is a very varied course with the first six holes and last three holes being bordered by thick hedges. It is a very varied course with each hole technically different from the other but they all compliment each other.
