The Golf Club Fioranello is situated on the slopes of the Alban Hills, the small range of volcanic hills that closes off the plain around Rome to the south. The capital is only a few kilometres away, so the club is a favourite with people who want to get away from the confusion and the proverbial traffic of Rome.
The course is a very attractive one, winding through the impressive ruins of a Roman aqueduct, amid old trees and fields of flowers from which you can enjoy the pleasant view of the Alban Hills.
The course is undulating, with a river and a lake coming in to play on many of the holes; it is a demanding course, far from noisy roads, which requires all the golfer's concentration who wish to come away with a respectable score.
