The opening stretch of five holes is as good as any in the world, the course flattens out on the back nine, but you return to the rolling terrain for the closing two holes on the Durban golfing green. The third on this golf course is considered one of the best par 5 holes.

(This road now becomes known as N.M.R. Avenue). Drive past the swimming pool complex on your right. Then turn right into Walter Gilbert and keep to the left lane. Keep going until the Durban Country Club main gates.
