The Durban Country Club boasts a naturally undulating golf course built in high dunes near the sea, with holes flowing through dense tropical Durban vegetation. The opening stretch of five holes is as good as any in the world, the course flattens out on the back nine, but you return to the rolling terrain for the closing two holes on the Durban golfing green. The third on this golf course is considered one of the best par 5 holes.
