| Playing golf at the Wild Coast is a remarkable experience, as this South African golf course climbs and descends through ravines and across waterfalls, with breathtaking views of the rugged terrain and the Indian Ocean.
A relatively short course, and easy to conquer on a calm day, it can be a brute in a strong wind. There are some long walks from tee to the golfing green and it is now compulsory to use a golfing cart.
The Wild Coast golfing green has six par-3 holes, and the tee shot at the 13th must carry a ravine, with the golfing green partly hidden by bush and rocks.
