| A golfing holiday in South Africa would not be complete without a very tropical looking layout for its numerous water hazards, palm trees, and indigenous bush. The golfing clubhouse overlooks a wonderful scene of golf holes and large expanses of water, but these hazards do punish the weaker golfer who can find the layout a bit too intimidating.
The par-five 13th is a real gambling hole for the golfer. Once you get your drive away on a 454-metre hole that doglegs sharply left, you either have to find an island fairway with your second shot, or go boldly for the golfing green protected by water.
