2. What deposit am I required to pay?
In order to confirm your booking you must pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total value of the booking; your credit card will be charged for the balance of the price of your golf holiday 8 weeks before the date it is due to commence. For more information, please see our Booking Conditions.
3. Do you charge a supplement for credit cards?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa & MasterCard. We do not accept debit cards.
4. How do you confirm my tee time?
After you have selected the golf courses you wish to play, the system will ask you the approximate time you wish to play. This request will go to our local office who will book a time closest to what was requested and send an email confirmation with the actual times confirmed. Once you accept these times we will debit your credit card and issue the vouchers.
5. What is the dress code on the golf course?
Tailored shorts/trousers and collared shirts are generally the accepted standard; if wearing shorts, long socks are not usually necessary. Golf shoes are essential (no trainers) as most courses insist upon soft spikes. Check your golf shoes have soft spikes before you depart. If you are in any doubt you should clarify the situation with the course management in advance of your arrival.
6. Can I tailor my own package?
We don't believe that golf holidays are a 'one size fits all' affair. We want you to choose the golf holiday you want rather than making do with a pre-prepared package. Most people booking with us start with a pre-prepared package and add/subtract rounds of golf, hire cars, or even hotel nights. Any change will instantly be reflected in the price displayed.
7. What happens if there are non-golfers in my group?
No problem. Since you can tailor your golf holiday to suit your needs, simply reduce the people playing rounds of golf while leaving the accommodation numbers the same.
8. Is there a limit on group size?
There is no limit to the amount of people you can book for - the more the merrier! We would however advise large groups to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
9. Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking at any time. Please be aware that you will be charged a cancellation fee, the amount of which will vary according to the cancellation costs we incur with suppliers and how close your cancellation is to your departure date. If you cancel before the 'Balance Due Date' you will forfeit any and all deposits. For further information, please see our Booking Conditions.
10. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in and check-out times vary from hotel to hotel. As a rough guide, check-in times tend to be between 2 and 3pm, and check-out times between 10am and midday. We suggest you check the hotel's website for clarification. If you need an early check-in or late check-out you may request one on arrival at your hotel. If your tee time is earlier than your check-in time and you are unable to secure an early check-in (this is thankfully rare), you may generally leave you luggage with the hotel's reception at no cost.
11. Why have I been charged a single supplement on my booking?
All of our golf packages are based on two people sharing a room, be it a twin or a double bedroom. If there is only one person in a room, a single supplement will be charged unless the hotel specifically offers separate rates for single rooms.
12. What is the difference between a twin and a double bedroom?
A double room will have a double or king-size bed; a twin room will have two single or queen-size beds. Please make sure you book the correct room type as once booked it may not be possible to change it.
13. What happens if my round of golf is cancelled due to bad weather?
If inclement weather means you can’t play golf on your golf holiday due to course closure, it is normal practice for courses to issue a voucher to play at another time. Please read the section on inclement weather in our Detailed Golf Information.
14. Can I pre-book golf buggies or caddies?
Unfortunately, most golf courses do not accept advance booking of golf buggies or caddies and you will need to book and pay for them at the pro shop on the day of your round. If you wish us to reserve a buggy we can put in a request but they are subject to availability. One exception to this is if you can produce a medical certificate that substantiates your need for a buggy; in this event we will contact the course and do everything within our power to reserve one for you.
15. Do I need a handicap certificate?
We strongly recommend that you carry a handicap certificate at all times as some courses in Europe will usually not allow you to play without one.
16. Will we be paired up on the golf course?
When booking tee times for 2, 3, 5 or 6 players, golf courses reserve the right to make all matches up to a four ball. This is more likely in peak times, and can lead to situations in which you have to play with players who are not in your party. Singles are not normally allowed to play on their own at peak times and will usually be required to join another group and some Asian courses will not accept bookings for single golfers.
